I would like to be able to incorporate DP in this workflow if possible. Below is an example script which starts a timed Screenflick recording of a specific area of the screen. Record any area of the screen from a thumbnail to 5K resolution at 60 fps (or higher, on ProMotion displays). (For Screenflick 3, use Automator instead.) Combine them with Automator workflows and Calendar alarms, and you can do quite a bit.
